Note to self

I. Wake up in the morning and have your curtains tucked away and your windows open wide. Breathe in the fresh air. Lay your head back and avoid starting your day with stress. 

II. Have some fresh fruit and finish breakfast feeling full. 

III. Get some exercise. Yoga to soothe. Running to breathe. Lifting for strength. 

IV. Everyone should know some self-defense moves. Learn them and keep them in mind. 

V. Take care of your body. Nobody else is going to do that for you. 

VI. If you're going to work or anywhere you will have to socialise with people, remember you have the chance to either make anyone's day or ruin it. Act accordingly. 

VII. Weed out the bad language. It's only creating tension in your mind. 

VIII. Take some time each day to improve your mind. The progress is its own reward. 

IX. Spend less time on your phone and more time seeing the world face to face. The next time you walk from your apartment all the way to the bus station, keep your phone away. Be aware for those ten minutes at least.

X. Go to sleep knowing that you have done well. Tomorrow is there with room to become even better. 

XI. Don't be afraid of asking for help.
