You know it - sometimes we just need a little help to stay focused and get creative. Something that helps me most of the times, almost immediately: Sounds. Yeah, that's right. It's not just the tea or the mediation that does it for me, I like to rely on the sounds around me.
When I study, I work best when it's quiet, that's why I love staying in my four walls to do that.
When I'm writing an essay or alter and edit chapters for my stories, I'll get my lil pretty butt in a coffeeshop - or when it's not possible, I'll get my earphones. So there are different sounds I'll listen to and there are different apps I love to use. Here's a list!
I absolutely love Coffitivity, there are currently three free "tracks" recreating the sound of coffeeshops. There's an app but it's also available on web.
If you love the sound of rainy weather because it's absolutely calming - it's perfect for you! There's an app for it too, but if you want to hit it up on web, click here.
Mix rain and coffeeshop atmosphere together and you're in a work-friendly environment immediately! It's also pretty dreamy. Find it here.
Noisely / Noizio
This is an app I found a few days ago. It basically provides all kinds of background sounds, may it be rain, thunder, the cracking of a fireplace, the seaside, garden sounds...
Piano pieces and soothing acoustic versions of your favorite songs... Spotify gives it all to you.
And last but not least:
Now here are hundreds and thousands of awesome playlists made by really anyone. You type in your favorite genre or the tags "calm", "studying", "writing", "relaxing" and you'll get tons of suggestions. Here are some that I made myself or saved because they're pretty awesome:
I hope I could help you in some way, I find that these really help me. If you know more sites or apps with the same function - oh, please, tell me!
